Due to requests from numerous customers, CPC Engineering has decided to improve its Fast Monitoring Tool (RMP) monitoring tool, developing its connectivity with DCS systems. In this way it is able to establish a connection between the DCS server and a PC connected to the DCS network, which will host the FMT.
The CPC Engineering tool is able to connect to most DCS: Yokogawa Centum V, Emerson DeltaV, etc., being able to monitor, record and historise the data of each of the variables existing in the DCS.
The programme interface allows the selection of the variables to be loaded in the RMP, as well as the design of the groups for the trends.
Access to the DCS variables is obtained by making use of the most powerful OPC on the market, Matrikon OPC, managing the tunnel between the server and the client. This software easily solves the hassles typically caused by DCOM and firewall configuration.

Data is captured via serial or Modbus communication with the Anti-Surge controllers, Process controllers and Surge Detectors.
