Project Description

EVA Production plant from Formosa Plastic Group is a chemical plant that produces Ethyl-Vinyl-Acetate in different production grades.

EVA production is done in a long line tubular reactor and it needs very specific conditions for EVA polymerisation based on reactor stable pressure and temperature.

CPC Engineering Work

CPC Engineering addressed critical operational challenges in this project, focusing on optimizing processes to ensure both efficiency and reliability.

Among the key tasks was the development of strategies to manage rapid pressure changes for multiple operational needs, such as halting undesired reactions and mitigating material buildup in system components.

The team also implemented precise control mechanisms to maintain stable operational parameters, preventing disruptions that could lead to production inefficiencies.

This included designing and deploying an advanced algorithm to automate critical timing adjustments, ensuring consistent process performance and maximizing productivity within defined operational limits.

Together with this enhancement, CPC Engineering included in the control room our Fast monitoring tool that ensures very fast records (below 50ms) which are critical for process monitoring and troubleshooting in this type of process.
